slanty, martha
I saw the new Harry Potter movie last night. Or rather, I saw about 2/3 of it, since I saw a 10:00 show, and therefore slept a lot. If I'm doing something active, like dancing, I can stay awake indefinitely. But if I'm sitting down in a darkened room after 10PM, I'm out like a light. Probably catching up on sleep a little would be good; I'm suffering a serious sleep deficit at the moment.

Anyway, sleeping through bits of the movie matters much less when you've read the book, and what I saw of the movie rocked. Dementors, Patronus, Sirius, and Pettigrew were all pretty much just as I imagined them. Lupin's first meeting with the
Boggart was much more of a giveaway in the movie than it
was in the book, though. (Saying more would be too much of
a spoiler).

Embarrassingly, I have the same problem with movies, but mostly rented ones; we never seem to start watching a movie before midnight, and then, well, darkness takes hold.

(And congrats on finally registering your account! :) :) :) )

Silly people. It's *work* you're supposed to fall asleep during!

what a waste of time that would be! I've knitted three fingers in the past day and a half of "work."

Would it make any sense to suggest that you try to see movies somewhat earlier in the day? :)
And yay on getting your account! Cally too, although I can't comment to her directly because she hasn't posted anything yet (hint hint).
